What’s Yous Wish for Greater Good!

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPS for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

You have to hand it to everyone at UPS; it’s amazing how quick packages end up on our doorstep thanks to them.  Every one of those packages started off as a wish throughout the holiday season and beyond.  I know my loved ones have smiled thanks to my friends at UPS.

Want to know something else, MY UPS GUY ROCKS!! We have had the same UPS guy for gosh, years and years.  He is awesome, always going above and beyond, and my favorite part is how much my kids like him because he takes the time to talk to them, get to know them, and even calls them by name when he drops a package off.  It truly makes their day, which puts a smile on my face.

Night lights at city for celebrating winter holidaysThis holiday seasons the wonderful people at UPS want to highlight organizations and individuals that are dedicated to making their community, country, or world a better place. This holiday season you can share a story of someone by using #WishedDelivered and UPS will share the magic each one of these story holds!

Gosh, if I had one wish that I would make for the greater good of others, I would do anything I could to make sure all the children in my community have an awesome holiday season.  It breaks my heart to think of a child out there without someone to spend the holidays with.  I would bring them all to my house!  It doesn’t even have to be the gifts; it’s the family and the true meaning behind the holidays.  I think everyone should have the chance to learn really what the holidays are about and feel the love from those around them.  However, gifts are a plus, and spending time with people who love you are what it’s all about.

My kids always amaze me.  I had a meeting with Vayda’s teacher the other day, and she informed me that my daughter was so sweet.  There is a girl in the class that gets picked on and Vayda went out of her way to get to know the girl, hangs out with her all the time, eats lunch with her and offers to help her with anything she needs.  She saw a little girl who didn’t have any friends and became her friend, she’s following in her older sisters footsteps, Catie was the same way.

baby mattie and catie memories and milestonesIt makes me proud to know my kids do not join in on the bullying, they stand up for their friends and befriend those who are being bullied.  Kids can be mean, and everyone deserves to have someone they know cares.  My kids inspire me to be the very best I can be; I often worry that I can’t keep up.  They truly are GREAT kids who do give only for the great good!

UPS is creating an awesome series of images and videos that display their commitment to the effort and celebrate the individuals and organization.  YOU, the public can also share these stories & celebrate their commitment to problems solving that’s done for no other reason than the greater good.

Celebrate the GREAT people in communities across the US.

This way of helping others sounds fun! UPS is really kind to do this for these charities. I heard that UPS was struggling to keep up with all their orders for Christmas so that’s good that they are trying to make it work.
