Any time spent with a child is a memory in the making. Times spent at the playground or watching a movie together, they are all great moments that last a lifetime. Another hugely important time spent with our kids is bath time. It is a time to learn, bond, have fun, and get squeaky clean all at once. SoCozy Professional HairCare for Children is a line of products, available at Target, that are made with the best ingredients and are still safe for kids. Knowing that our kids are getting the best clean while having fun is a great feeling. Here are some other ways to make Bath Time fun with SoCozy, your kids, and you.

SoCozy

I have a lot of memories of bath time when I was a kid. It was always time to imagine and have my own litle adventure. Needless to say, my mom was really the only one to bothered with the fact that I was in there to get clean. Like most kids, bath time is fun and exciting and there are a lot of ways to add to that fun and even make it educational. Here are 10 ways to make bath time fun with SoCozy, your kids, and you! Because SoCozy makes bath time So Easy, So Safe, So Cool, and So Smart!

Purple Water SoCozy

1. Colorful Water

Making the water different colors is a great way to add some excitement to bath time. Food coloring is nontoxic for kids and can be added to bath water and bubbles to make a colorful time in the tub. While using the SoCozy 2-in-1 Shampoo + Body Wash, the suds can poof up and make a colorful bubble hair-do. The kids will be splashing and giggling, all the while getting squeaky clean, nothing better!

2. Cups and Bowls

These simple plastic items can add tons of fun to bath time. I remember always wanting to measure out “recipes” like my mom in the tub. So, measuring cups and spoons are great during bath time. They csn help kids to learn math and proportions. 4 tablespoons equals 1/4 cup and 4 of the 1/4 cups equals a full cup, and so on. The food coloring in the water  makes it easier for children to see the measurements as well, for that very particular child (like myself.)

3. Rain Maker

A plastic strainer, as simple as it sounds and is, can bring so much joy to bath time. If using the colorful water, blue works best. The kids can make their own rain showers over and over again. And, when they are rinsing out the SoCozy 3-in-1 Shampoo+Conditioner+Body Wash, they can hold the strainer over their head and rinse out the suds with “rainwater.” It’s all about imagination!

SoCozy Crayons

4. Washable Artwork

When I heard about this idea, I thought it was meant just for my nieces. Those little girls draw on anything and each other all the time. The answer to this dilemma was pretty simple; put them in the bathtub with washable markers and let them doodle away. They also have bath time crayons that wash away. Even if they mark up the walls of the tub and tile, it all comes off and into the drain. The SoCozy Bodywash makes sure all the cute drawings come off baby as well. (If there is slight discoloration, a little bit of bleach water takes it off easy as pie.)

SoCozy Sprayer

5. Spray Away

We have to face it, kids love water. If they get their hands on a squirt gun or spray bottle, they are all over the place with it. It’s best to corral them in the bathroom and let them spray away while they are washing.  One thing to be careful of is to avoid the children squirting anybody in the eyes.  Luckily though, the SoCozy HairCare line has safe-for-kids ingredients, so if accidental suds get in the eyes, it can easily be rinsed out. Giggles and splashing are wonderful echos to hear coming from the bathroom.

6. Glow Time Bathtime

My nieces really like bath time in the evenings and glowsticks are a great idea to throw in the tub at night. Toss a few in the water (colored if you like), put some glow stickers and stars on the walls and it’s a night time glow fest.  Also, if you can find it, there are some non-toxic glow in the dark pens and paints that would be fun to play with in the tub at night. I have to admit that I’ve taken part in exploring the moon during a bathtime of my own.

SoCozy Paper Boat

7. Toy Boats

Remember those little paper boats we used to fold up and race when we were in school? They are perfect for bath time with our kids too. It’s a great precursor activity before bath time, just get the kids together, the supplies and build each of them their own boat. Put their name or a number on them so they can race. The rules are as follows: the boats can only be moved by small waves or wind made by blowing the sails. It’s incredible to see how excited the kids, and adults get about the outcome. If you want to try wind up boats or toys, they work just fine, but I have found that my nieces would rather build their own.

SoCozy Bath Paint

8. Bathtub Paint

Now, you know your kids have been eyeing dad’s shaving cream since the second you put it in the bathroom. So, before you find them hiding behind the couch with a shaving foam mustache, make some bath paints. In a muffin tin, fill each cup with enough foam and a couple drops of food coloring, stir lightly and let the kids paint away. They will be having so much fun that they won’t notice you washing their hair with SoCozy Lice Prevention Shampoo.

SoCozy Bubbles

9. Bubble Time Bathtime

Bubbles are great during the summer months and are just as fun in the bath tub too. Take some bubbles or some bubble making tools into the bathroom for bath time. The “tools” are simply a straw and some bubble bath liquid. Blow bubbles in the water, try to blow the biggest bubble, and see how big a pile of bubbles you can build. Again, with food coloring, you can make multicolored bubbles for the kids too!

10. Bathtub Tunes

Who doesn’t love music? Music is great to jam to while doing housework, cooking, working out, and every other activity. So, it makes sense to add some tunes to bath time as well. Toss on a great Sing-A-Long album that the kids know by heart. Just sit back and listen to the voices fill the room and echo through the house. Plus, the acoustics are great in the bathroom, so our little divas can really put on an amazing show. Be sure to use the SoCozy Detangler after washing the little one’s hair. Knots left over from headbanging to the music are not something we want on our agenda after bathtime.

SoCozy Music

With all this fun and excitement and learning going on in the bathroom, it’s a mystery as to how they get clean. Luckily, there is the SoCozy Professional HairCare for Children which is made with the finest ingredients that are all safe for children. There are the 2-in-1, 3-in-1, Lice Prevention, Conditioners, and Detangler sprays to ensure that bath time is fun and enjoyable.
