Heart Cinnamon Rolls For Mother’s Day
This morning I woke up EARLY before the kids, to get a little work done. Don’t tell my kids, but I couldn’t help myself I had to make a cup of my new favorite coffee – Dunkin’ Donuts® Chocolate Glazed Donuts. WOW, can you talk about amazing. So back to the story, my kids woke up a few hours later and guess what was the first thing on their Mother’s Day to-do-list? Mother’s Day Heart Cinnamon Rolls
My kids also made me these super fun heart cinnamon rolls. It’s cool because they actually remembered me making these for them on Valentines Day and have been planning my Mother’s Day Cinnamon Rolls & Coffee in bed. Don’t worry, since I was already up they made me get back into bed before I knew what they were doing. Of course, I knew about the coffee and knew they were up to something sticky because I could hear them, but I would have never thought they remembered how to make the heart cinnamon rolls. I love my kids!
The heart cinnamon rolls are super easy to make you can grab any package of cinnamon rolls. Rather than placing them on the cookie sheet right after you take them out of the container, unroll them, pinch the middle together, which will be the bottom of the heart and roll each side of the cinnamon roll to look like a heart. They’ll bake perfectly and you can even add a little food coloring to the cinnamon rolls frosting. My kids didn’t have that option because I hide it. Hey, bad things happen, even on Mother’s Day lol.
