Here are a few awesome back to school fun lunch ideas for kids!  They’re super easy and something you and your child can both have fun with.  I like to send my kids with something special now and then as a little surprise!  It’s nice knowing you put a little smile on their face during their at school.  Of course, you can change them up and make them your own!

Awesome Lunch Ideas For KidsFun & Easy Lunch Ideas for Kids

I hope you enjoy these fun and easy lunch ideas for kids!  They’re super easy and lots of fun!  My kids like them because their friends think their lunches are so cool, lol.  Shh, we won’t tell anyone how easy it is to make these hip and cool sandwiches for the kids.  We’ll let everyone think we’re up all night making the peanut butter and baking the bread!  Enjoy!

The heart-shaped peanut butter and jelly are SUPER easy and if your child like peanut butter and jelly it’s sure to be a hit.

Spread peanut butter, finds your favorite shaped cookie cutter, and apply jelly into the cookie cutter while place on the bread with peanut butter spread on it.  It works best if you gently pack it down.  Don’t worry, if you have a PB&J lover they will notice something is going on in the middle of their sandwich and open it up to check it out.  BAM, instant smile and another one of my kids favorite back to school lunch ideas.

Another fun one is the peanut butter and fruit star sandwich.  Have fun with it, add your child’s favorite fruits and for the older children you can let them create their own at school.  If you have a Rubbermaid LunchBlox keeping things separate and cool isn’t a problem and if you create it for them the night before it’s okay the sandwich container fits everything nice and neat and it keeps everything cool.  Oh, and don’t forget to cut another start shape out of the tortilla to put on top if you like.  I left it off so you could see the inside, but I normally put a top on for the kids.  They can tell by the way the sandwich feels there is going to be a cool surprise.

Fold your tortilla in half and cut it to look like the shape of a butterfly.  Spread cream cheese and add fruits as desired.  You can also have fun with this little sandwich and add ham, cheese, or anything else you can dream up.  The butterfly cream cheese fruit tortilla sandwich is my youngest favorite.  Same here, if you like place a 2nd butterfly shape tortilla on top.

Star Peanut Butter and JellyStar Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich

The star peanut butter and jelly tortilla sandwich is super easy.  I simply use a cookie cutter to make the shape and add PB&J, BAM done!  Place in the kids LunchBlox and it’s good to go.  Make it any shape you want and add whatever you want on the tortilla sandwich.  It’s a great way to change things up, so the kids don’t get board.

It’s time to say goodbye to the lazy summer mornings and prepare to get back into our back to school routines.  Which means back to school shopping, preparing kids for earlier bedtimes, and making school lunches once again. Since there isn’t often the time for gourmet lunches, but there is time for a little preplanning and sending your kids to school with an awesome build-your-own lunchbox creation.

lunchbloxMy daughter Vayda is old enough that I can send her all the fixings she needs to build her own fun sandwich if I send along all the fixings, it’s fun and the Rubbermaid LunchBlox is the PERFECT food storage container. It not only keeps everything separate in it’s own container, it fits together nice and easy, it’s perfect for well-portioned meals on the go, and it keeps my kids lunches nice and cool when I need it too!

lunchblox by rubbermaidI don’t know about you, but I want to have fun with my kids lunches, and put a little smile on their face when they open their lunchbox at school.  However, it can be difficult if you’re stuck sending the same old peanut butter and jelly sandwich because you don’t have an AWESOME lunchbox like the Rubbermaid Lunch Blox.  Seriously, whether you just want to keep things separate or need to keep things chilled until your kids eat lunch this is by far the coolest lunchbox I’ve ever used.

The Rubbermaid LunchBlox makes packing lunches easy thanks to the modular food storage containers that easily snap tog;ether in different configurations.  Plus, it fits nice and neat into a bag or box and the AWESOME Blue Ice® tray snaps into place to keep things cool until your child is ready to eat.  Not to mention the Luncblox’s are 100% BPA free, dishwasher, freezer, and even microwave safe.  Yes, my thoughts exactly!  The Lunchblox is not only the perfect lunchbox for kids but parents too!  YES and you can learn more by visiting Rubbermaid.com, following via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and of course you can see what other bloggers are saying by checking out the #BloxOff hashtag!
