This post brought to you by Walmart. All opinions are 100% mine.
Being a new mom is the most exciting, most stressful, nerve racking thing I can think of. You’re so excited to be holding this amazing, beautiful little baby, but you’re so scared. You want to do everything right, and you want only the best product for you baby. You want nothing but the best, the softest products for the newest member to your family.
Don’t stress everything comes. I know it can be hard to believe that, but really it does. Those mommy gears start working and before you know it you are banging your head in the wall because you have a teenager on your hands. I mean that with all the love in the world.
I love my teenager, on Sunday when she is grounded, and being nice because she really wants me to cave and let her go somewhere, lol. If you don’t know the feeling it’s likely it will be here before you know it…. So cherish those baby years they go by too fast.
I was thinking back the other day to some of the “mommy moments” I have had in my life. Man there is some good ones, with every one of my kids. My youngest, Mattie still keeps me on my toes. She’s still learning to use her voice, and man she comes up with some silly things. If I’m ever upset, and I can always rely on my kids to cheer me up.
I remember one time I was sitting on the couch a little upset for some reason. My oldest Catie, comes flying out of her room all in a panic. We were fixing to go to the lake, and I had my wetsuits. Catie tells me, “Mom whatever you do please don’t fart in your wetsuit.”
I would have laughed my butt off, but I was a little concerned where she learned that. Yes I did ask. She responds with, “On Nickelodeon this kid he farts in a wetsuit and floats away. Mom I don’t want you to float away. What if we don’t find you?” I couldn’t help but laught, and yes I still pick on her for it.
Then Vayda walks up to her dad and I, she had this serious face on. She was little bitty. She comes up and she says, “Hey dad you know what?” Of course Shawn says, “What Vayda.” I think he knew by her face this was going to get interesting lol.
Anyway, Vayda says, “Hey dad did you know that you can never trust a fart?” We couldn’t help it we had to ask her why. Vayda quickly responds with, “Well you see I thought I only had to fart, but I pooped a little too, so now I know that I cannot trust farts.” We couldn’t help it, see we were working on potty training.. it was such a mouthful for her to say, but she did it lol.
