You know, today just hasn’t been my day. It’s been one of those days that you just wish you could crawl back into bed and go to sleep. It’s just too much, which I know we all have these days and they will pass. My mom taught me a long time ago that we have to experience these “bad” times to truly appreciate the good ones because if every single day was a good day we would miss out on that “life is good” feeling that is so amazing.
All For Mom Cause Their The Best Gifts
My mom is such an awesome woman. Growing up I always knew everything was going to be okay because I had my parents. My dad went to work every single day to keep food in our mouth and a roof over our head and my mom stayed home with us, how I don’t know lol. My kids are so amazing and rarely fight, which I know I’m blessed. See we fought all the time, about everything – who’s shirt was cooler, who got 3 more macaroni’s than the other one, and I can’t remember how many times she had to pull the car over because we didn’t believe her the first 79 times she warned us lol.
So today while I am experiencing my “bad day” and hard times it also makes me remember all the hard times my mom had, that she made it out of just fine and suddenly it makes things a little easier. I’m blessed because I can still pick up the phone on these days and just vent, cry, scream, yell, or get advice from the smartest, strongest, best mom I know – MY MOM!

We got to meet up with mom early this year. It was awesome, had lunch, let the kids play at the park, and gave mom her gifts. This year we did good and got her everything she wanted and were able to sneak in a little extra because she’s worth it.
