I love to cook and make new recipes and if you keep up with the blog you know all of us here at Jenns Blah Blah Blog love food! I have found a great app that is such a great resource to have. Recifoto is a great app that helps me search for new recipes and also share my own. I am always looking for fun and new recipes with Recifoto on the iPad it is just a pic and click away.
I live with my sister and her family. I love being here and one huge advantage of staying here is that I am the chef for virtually every meal. I can usually come up with different ideas for the family, but some days are harder than others. When I am low on imagination and time, I need a little help. With Recifoto, I can look at the new pictures and recipes posted. The app offers pics of actual recipes or the final meal itself. The pictures are super helpful and give me ideas in a jiffy. Also, if I need some ideas for a main ingredient I can easily search and find lists of all sorts of entrees.
Recifoto is really easy to use. It is free to download for the iPhone and iPad, just click the links! There are so many other users in the Recifoto community and I have found so many recipes that I like. I can always like them and search for them later. The easier way is to create a collection, and by making the $.99 In App Purchase, I can save the recipes for another time. The Recifoto search tool is wonderful, but the arsenal of recipes is pretty large. So, by being able to create my own collection makes it so much easier to find the specific recipe I am looking for.
It is so simple to post a recipe on Recifoto. All I have to do is take a picture of a recipe itself, the meal I have prepared, or a screenshot of something I found online. Then after I upload the picture I can add a title or a hyperlink to the recipe itself or use the URL to jennsblahblahblog.com so everyone can see all the other recipes that our site offers. This makes it so valuable as a social tool for a foodie like myself.
With all the great things this app has to offer, I have found one thing that I would like to see addressed. When I post photos and recipes I sometimes would like to add a description with that uploaded pic. I can leave a comment with the picture, but I think it would be more effective as a description with the title itself. This is really a very small con compared to all the great things that come with the Recifoto app.
With that being the only issue, I highly recommend it and I use it myself all the time now. I was really excited when I got the chance to try it out and now I’m even more stoked to be able to share it with all of you. I hope you enjoy this fabulous new app too!
