Finally, a Lubricant Designed to Help Support Fertility | Astroglide TTC™

by Jenn Brockman

Everyone has a different story when it comes to conception. Some may have been lucky and it been effortless while others it can be a long journey, lasting even years. Regardless of the circumstances, they continue to push on, remain confident, and stay inspired that one day they will have a little bundle of joy.  Thankfully my journey wasn’t too bad, it wasn’t effortless, but things were fairly easy.  I guess you could say it just took a lot of extra practice.

Most of you know my husband, and I are planning to have another little one, well the good news is, I visit my doctor next week to have my IUD removed, and we’ll begin our journey.  I seriously can’t wait!  I hope things happen a little quicker than they did with Mattie, but whatever happens is supposed to happen.  We’re just planning to go with the flow and put in extra practice if needed.

I still remember the day I told my husband I was pregnant. I was in shock, he wanted to talk about it, and I wanted to finish our night together and soak things in before talking about it. I didn’t think I was going to get pregnant, so when it happened, I took about 46 pregnancy tests to make sure, lol. It didn’t take, but a few hours, and I was jumping for joy. I couldn’t wait to experience pregnancy and eventually motherhood, and I can honestly say it’s been the best thing that has ever happened to me. Sure, being pregnant had it ups and downs, but motherhood is by far the most rewarding thing I have ever experienced.

Since my husband and I have been talking more and more about our next child I’ve been thinking and wondering how things will go with this one.  Will it be easy, or will we have to put in extra practice again?    Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining about all the extra “practice” my husband and I did to have our little Mattie, but lets just say there was time when things got uncomfortable.  Oh, come on ladies you know all that extra “practice” can cause uncomfortable vaginal dryness.

Finally, a Lubricant Designed to Help Support Fertility, Astroglide TTC™

I’m glad to have the chance to take part in this campaign, see I always thought all lubricants were a no-no when trying to conceive.  I guess we learn something new everyday!  Astroglide TTC™ like other Astroglide products, works to relieve vaginal dryness during intercourse but okay to use while trying to conceive.

trying to have a babyHow Astroglide TTC™ Works

When trying to conceive it’s important to provide an environment where sperm has a chance to survive, which are affected by pH levels, consistency of egg white cervical mucus, and osmolality. There are lubricants that may affect the conditions and actually inhibit sperm motility, but did you know that studies have shown Astroglide TTC™ to be compatible with embryos, oocytes, sperm, and allows the sperm to move freely? See, Astroglide TTC™ is formulated with adjusted pH levels, compatible osmolality, and the consistency is similar to cervical mucus, which means it’s less likely to hinder the motility of the sperm than many other traditional lubricants. You’ll also find that Astroglide TTC™ contains galactose (naturally found in semen) and fructose (primary source of energy for sperm).

Astroglide TTC™ comes in pre-filled applicators, making it easy and less messy to use because there is not stressing filling applicators yourself.  To learn more about Astroglide TTC™ visit their website at Astroglide.com  It currently has a retail price of $12.99 and you can click here see where you can purchase it.
