Five Fun Ways To Celebrate Graduation

by Jenn Brockman

I remember attending college, I also remember how proud I felt when I finally graduated.  Attending college is everything but easy. However, finishing and celebrating graduation is one of the most rewarding times in my life.  One of my biggest regrets isn’t going right to college after I graduated high school.  I think it was harder to get used to studying for exams and just being on a school schedule you know.  Plus, by the time I went back I was already in a position where I had to work full-time, which made school full-time more difficult.

My youngest sister did it the smart way.  She went right from high school to college, changed her degree a few times, but finally did it.  She has her teaching degree and is chomping at the bit to start teaching.

5 Fun Ways To Celebrate GraduationFive Fun Ways To Celebrate Graduation

Since celebration typically comes along with graduation, and should here are a few fun ideas.

1) Go on a vacation baby, and just relax.

If there is ever a time in your life, you deserve a vacation it’s after graduation.  Take a vacation somewhere, anywhere, and relax.  You’ll be starting a job soon, and it’s back to life.  So enjoy a little time away from your everyday lives.

2) Do something that makes you feel good about yourself.

Spoil yourself, head to the spa, get your nails done, cut and color your hair, or anything else that makes you feel good.  Do something that relaxes you, no stress for a little bit does the body good.

3) Have a gathering, have fun, and enjoy your accomplishments.

Get family and friends together for a cookout, party, or whatever it is you enjoy doing.  Remember, it’s about you, and you should do whatever it is that you enjoy.  We are planning 4th of July camping trip for my sister.  Shh, it’s a surprise.  Okay, she knows about it, or I wouldn’t put it here.  However, she isn’t supposed to know about it, and my mother would kill me if she knew lol.

4) Get up and go shopping.

I love to go shopping, lol.  It’s a stress reliever; sadly I don’t have the money to do it all the time.  However, graduating call for shopping and a new wardrobe for your new career right.  Relieve some stress and get yourself some new clothing for interviews or your new job.

5) Show off that diploma.

It’s graduation seasons and an emotional time for many families and students.  As students move forward with their life, they will always be able to look back at their days in college and be proud of their accomplishment.  There isn’t a better gift than a high-quality, handcrafted (in the USA) frame to not only showcase their diploma, but also protect it for many years to come.  Graduates can also enjoy foil embossing of the school name and seal, as well as an opening for their tassel.  When ordering you can choose from a variety of frames, color-enameled medallions, foil embossing of the schools name, seal, and even campus images, like the one we were lucky enough to give to my sister from Church Hill Classics.

When hanging your diploma, you’ll want a high-quality diploma frame like the one we were able to present to my sister from Church Hill Classics.  They offer high-quality diploma frames that help turn a degree into a beautiful keepsake.  They also have over 1,500 colleges and universities to choose from.  Swing by Church Hill Classics website and check it out.

Fun Ways To Celebrate GraduationThe moment my sister opened her graduation gift she knew it was a frame and before she opened the box she told me she couldn’t believe I got her such a nice frame for her diploma.  Of course, I couldn’t have done it without Church Hill Classics, but it was nice to see her face.  She was excited to get everything put together and plans on hanging it in her classroom.  I think it’s AWESOME, and I’m very proud of my sister for all her hard work.  It hasn’t been easy, but she did it.  Now it’s time to celebrate!
