Moms Rule When All Else Fails Laugh

“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Moms Rule. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.”

Being a parent is hard work.  I like to think it’s mom that has it bad and that moms rule, but dads rule too.  I just say moms rule because I’m a mom and I’m excused 99% of the time, but trust me, dads, you rule too.  I watch my kids and wish I could have a quarter of the energy they have.  Could you imagine everything one could get done if they were to have that amount of energy and be productive?  WOW, one can only wish.

I mean just look at these kids!  How does one keep up?

We don’t get the energy but we someone how have to keep up with it – cleaning up messy kids, whipping crayons off the walls, teaching them to tie their shoes, spilled drinks, handprints on the windows, couch, and OMG what is that on the floor.  You know what, I’m not even going to ask.  I’m just going to clean it up and move on; it’s probably safer that I don’t know, right lol.

There is only one way to handle them in my opinion, laughter!  It’s truly the best medicine for me to keep my hair and my sanity.  I learned long ago, I need to laugh rather than allow myself to turn read, and get angry.  I mean honestly, I tell my kids to do this stuff all the time, I should practice it, shouldn’t I?

I mean if you can’t fix it, don’t try, why get made, laugh right.  Yea, there was this one time when even laughter didn’t fix anything.  My two youngest decided to get a whole bag of flour, open it, and play with it all over the house.  Okay, that was bad, cleaning up flour for days.  Then, I tell my husband about it and he asked me why I didn’t’ take pictures.  I’m like, yea okay because that was the first thing that came to my mind.

Oh, or this time Vayda decided to use FOUR BOTTLES of dish soup to give the dog a bath.  Yes, we are still washing soup off.  I’m pretty sure the poor dog farted bubbles for three months.  Oh, or the time the girls decided to make some type of teleporting machine out of their brothers keyboard.  Which sounds okay, but this is the ONLY toy he would play with.  They were convinced they were going to teleport somewhere and get him a better one.

KIDS, OMG… You can’t beat them, joining them doesn’t make sense, so laugh at them right or is it laugh with them?  Who knows anymore.
