I have always loved authentic Asian style cuisine like Tai Pei products, especially their yummy egg rolls.  They’re so easy to prepare and taste great.  I haven’t purchased them in a while because I was the only person in my home that would eat them, because my children don’t like to try new things.  I have attempted to get them to step outside of their comfort zone and try new things.  After about an hour of begging them, I finally talked them into taking a small bite of a Tai & Pei Egg Roll.

The Tai Pei Egg Rolls and Tai Pei Spring Rolls are super yummy, easy to make, and perfect for our upcoming holiday parties, but it’s also perfect for a snack.  I’m thinking they are going to be perfect for our New Year’s Eve party.

If you haven’t tried Tai & Pei Egg Rolls and Spring Rolls, they are amazing.  They’ve been one of my favorite since I started buying them, but I didn’t buy them too much because my kids are wimps and never want to try anything new.  Darn kids, lol.

I was at Walmart the other day and picked up some yummy Tai Pei Egg Rolls and Spring Rolls.

Mini Spicy Chicken, Shrimp and Vegetable Egg Rolls, and I looked for the Tai & Pei Spring rolls, but they’re so popular where I live Walmart was out!  DARN IT!  I love the spring rolls.  Have you had them?  They’re the perfect finger food for a gathering, especially if you’re looking for something guests can easily eat with their fingers (saves on dishes, which I love LOL), have something yummy that you don’t have to spend the day preparing, and your guests will enjoy.

I made my Egg Roll Dipping Sauce, not because the Tai Pei Egg Rolls and Springs Rolls don’t come with sweet and sour sauce because they do.  They come with more than enough sauce for the egg rolls.  I just wanted to experiment a little with a recipe my sister game me, which turned out pretty good, so I thought I would share it.  The kids liked the sweet and sour sauce that came with the egg rolls better, which is fine.  I liked them both, and now I know how to make a yummy sauce for my egg rolls that’s easy and taste great.  I’ve tried to make them in the past, and they always turn out horrible, which is why I’m only sharing now, lol.  I admit it; this is the 1st egg roll sauce recipe I have made that tasted good.

I finally got my kids to try egg rolls.  They’re always scared of new things, but I finally broke them and got them all to take a bit of the vegetable egg rolls, and they all LOVED them.  Even my 4-year-old daughter, Mattie came back for more.  I will, for sure, be buying more Tai Pei Egg Rolls and Spring Rolls for our New Years Even Party!  It’s great to know they will be a hit even with the kids.  That takes an enormous load off me, because now I can do something easy, quick, and that will use fewer dishes!  Last year the kids talked me into all sorts of crazy, and I ended up spending most of my days cooking and decorating, and there was so many dishes.

This year I want to spend more time visiting and enjoying time with my family and friends so Tai Pei Egg Rolls and Spring Rolls are an excellent option.  They’re also great for snacks, and the kids have already requested that I buy more, lol.  I sure hope this is a lesson to them that they are really missing out on great things by not stepping outside of their comfort zone and trying new foods.

Oh, and before I forget, if you’re looking for a great snack or something for your special gathering that is yummy and easy, be sure to take advantage of this Ibotta rebate offer, which runs until 12/31 here.  You can also find out more by following Tai Pei on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
