My kids have been back in school for almost two weeks, and I’ve been trying to come up with a fun back to school lunch ideas. So far my kids have requested three of them again, so I figure they are by far the coolest, lol. However, you’ll probably want to send an extra package of Wet Ones® with them so they can not only clean their hands before they eat but after they have fun creating their fun and easy lunch!
Three Fun & Easy Back To School Lunch Ideas for Kids
Cream Cheese Rice Cakes with Goldfish Crackers
Vayda is old enough that she likes creating her lunches, so the cream cheese rice cakes with Goldfish Crackers was perfect for her. However, I know my child, so I made sure to send her an extra package of Wet Ones®, lol. One so she can wipe her hands before and one for after she is finished creating her lunch.
You’ll need:
- Mini Rice Cakes (your child’s favorite)
- Cream Cheese
- Blue food coloring
- Pepperidge Farm® Goldfish Crackers
- Wet Ones®
Let’s make these cream cheese rice cakes with Goldfish crackers:
- Of course, you’ll want to show your child how to create the Goldfish rice cakes! It’s an excellent lunch because all you’ll need to do is pack it and add a little blue food coloring to the cream cheese.
- Making them is easy, just spread the cream cheese over the top of the rice cake and add a Goldfish cracker!
Tuna and Crackers with Goldfish
- Tuna (I used the lunch packages so the kids can mix the tuna at school, and it comes with the crackers)
- Crackers (If you don’t purchase the tuna lunch packs)
- Pepperidge Farm® Goldfish Crackers
- Wet Ones®
Let’s make these tuna crackers with Goldfish:
- Another simple lunch for mom that leaves the fun for the kids. Don’t forget to pack an extra Wet Ones®.
- All you’ll need to do is pack everything and teach your child how to make their tuna crackers with Goldfish, which I’m sure you can tell by the photo is super easy. Just spread tuna on a cracker and add a Goldfish or two on the top! BAM, done and it’s a super fun lunch idea for kids. Vayda and Mattie have taken this twice for lunch! I like it because it’s an excellent lunch, and they like it because their friends think it’s the coolest. It’s a win-win!
The Tuna Boat Sub Sandwich
I had shared the Tuna Boat Sub Sandwich on the blog before but I had to share it again because it’s a huge hit with the kids, and I love it because it’s easy.
You’ll need:
- Sub Sandwich Bun
- Tuna
- Cheese
- Celery
- Pepperidge Farm® Goldfish Crackers
- Wet Ones®
Let’s create the tuna boat sub sandwich:
- All mom needs to do is cut the cheese into two rectangles, cut a piece of celery that is a little shorter than the cheese, and stuff the sub with tuna.
- Kids will need to place the stick of tuna in the middle of the sub sandwich, and then lay the cheese up against it. The celery will hold the cheese up. Then add a few Goldfish, so they look like they are swimming on the tuna fish sub.
Pepperidge Farm® Goldfish Crackers are a lunchtime favorite because they come in several different flavors and types! Plus, I love that I can purchase the big 30-ounce box of Goldfish Crackers so they last for several of the kids lunches.
I’m excited that I can send my kids to school with Wet Ones® Singles and toss an extra one when their lunch is extra creative but a little extra messy, lol. Hey, it’s okay to have fun with food as long as you have clean hands and Wet Ones® are an essential in my kids lunches so they have clean hands, especially since it helps me rest easy knowing Wet Ones® kills 99.9% of germs so they can enjoy creating their lunch!
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Wet Ones® + Pepperidge Farm® . The opinions and text are all mine.
