Let’s face it, mom is supposed to be super women. Mom has to kiss boo-boos to make them feel better, make homemade chicken noodle soup when someone is sick, and spend countless hours tending to her families needs.
Since my children were little I’ve tried to teach them the importance of sharing with others. It’s one of the most important rules we have in our home, one doesn’t want to get caught being selfish in this mom’s house, lol. With a toddler it can be hard now and then, but we are consistent with her. Things will fall into place, I want my children to grow up knowing that lending a hand, smile, huge, or even a dollar goes a long way. We never know what our smile means to the cashier at the grocery store. She may be having the worst day, and their little smiles lights up her day.
This time of year however, I try to teach my children there’s some things we don’t share. Germs, are something we don’t want to share. We don’t want to get others sick, or get sick ourselves if it can be avoided. Sadly, children will be children, and they will get sick. Which is why they need mom to take care of time. LOL, so funny my teen is at that age. The age where she doesn’t need mom, unless she is sick. Than she needs mom for everything, it’s mom can you, mom will you, and mom please. I truly love being mom, there’s nothing more important than taking care of my family.
It’s funny out of all four children, you would think my youngest would be the most needy. Nope, wrong. It’s my husband, he is by far the most needy and biggest baby of them all. Poor guy, mom really likes to pick on him too. Normally, when the kids are sick I make sure they have everything they need. Cook up some of moms famous Chicken Noodle Soup, Hot Coco, a box a Kleenex, anything they need mom is there to save the day.
Now poor dad, yea mom cooks for him, gets him Hot Coco, and even Kleenex, but not without picking on him a little. I love my husband, he’s such a good sport. He means the world to me, and he knows I wouldn’t pick on him if I didn’t love him. There’s nothing more important to parents than having happy, healthy children. So we’ll do anything we can to help make certain our children are well cared for.
Now with Kleenex’s Share Pack, I cannot wait to send my family and friends a super cute box of Kleenex to make their day a little better, and let them know we’re thinking about them. With six people living in our home, receiving a share pack would be fabulous, and sending one to family and friends will be something everyone will enjoy. Letting our family and friends know we’re thinking about them when their not feeling well. My 8 year old daughter asked me, “Mom what are you writing about?“ I explained Kleenex Share Pack to her, and she responded with, “That’s cool mom, now we can send aunt Nancy, Grandma, Pa, Nana, and Breanna some when they don’t feel good.” One has to love the Power of Sharing, especially when their kids notice.
Thanks Kleenex Brand, this mommy blogger will be sending out Share Packs to family and friends. (fingers are crossed I don’t need to, I don’t w ant my family and friends to be sick). Thanks Kleenex for helping our family let those that don’t live near know that we care and think about them when they’re not feeling well. My children are excited to send someone a Kleenex Care Pack, lol. They were talking about calling all the family and making sure they are feeling good. Love my kids!
