Planning Your Next Holiday

Blah Blah's Good Disclosure

Even though summer is over, it never hurts to start planning your next holiday.  In fact, many people enjoy planning a holiday over the winter so they have something to look forward to come spring and summer.  Plus, depending on your plans, you can sometimes get better deals on travel when you book early.  Here are some thoughts for your next holiday!

The Beach Vacation

Many people enjoy the beach vacation, and for most Americans, it can be within reach fairly easily.  For some, this may be a simple drive to a “lake”, but it is very similar to the ocean.  Depending on where you go, you could stay in a hotel, a resort, or even go camping on the beach.  There are a lot of options with beach vacations.

Roughing It

For some, the idea of a vacation at a hotel just doesn’t cut it – they want to rough it.  This means an adventure in the backcountry, with camping and hiking involved.  There are so many great National Parks to see and other places that are great for camping.

However, if you have a family, you may want to camp but not rough it.  In this case, you may want to consider renting an RV.  This can be a great way to see the national parks, and it usually is pretty cheap.  All you need to do is pay for rent, incidentals, and essentials like gas and simple caravan insurance.  Then, you get the comforts of home in fun places.

The Destination

Finally, there is always the destination vacation, such as traveling to Hawaii or Europe.  These vacations tend to be much more expensive than most, and they also require a lot of planning.  However, if you are looking for a unique vacation experience, travelling to an exotic destination can be a lot of fun, and can be very entertaining.

Look for deals early if you are travelling abroad, since you typically have to get a lot of different things in order to make the trip work.
