Anyone in the mood for some amazing chocolate chip cookies?

My husband asked me to make him some of these fabulous chocolate chip cookies over the weekend, and I put it off until yesterday.  Poor guy, he’s so miss treated.  I actually talked my sister-n-law into sharing her recipe with me, everything she cooks or bakes is so yummy.  I love it when I talk her into sharing, because then I can share with you.  Don’t tell her, lol.  Not really, she reads my blog.  I’m sure I would get a call this evening about it if she didn’t know I was going to share her recipe.  I’ve been trying to talk her into starting her own little food blog, I think you would love many of her recipes   I don’t know that she will ever start one, so I’m forced to share them here.  Which is fine with me, I love her cooking.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Thanks Marley for your fabulous chocolate chip cookie recipe.

Amazing Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies From Scratch – Great Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 heaped teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 3/4 cups All-Pupose Flour
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 1/1 sticks Butter
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

Directions

Step 1
Mix together granulated sugar, brown sugar and softened until mixture is a fluffy mixture.
Step 2
Add eggs one by one, mix well after each egg. Now add your vanilla extract and mix.
Step 3
Combine the flour mixture and the egg mixture and be sure everything is mixed well. An electric mixer is much easier to use, but don’t think this cannot be done with some elbow grease.
Step 4
Now the fun part, add 2-4 cups of chocolate chips and mix. You can add as many or as little as you like depending on how many chips you want in your cookies.
Step 5
Cover cookie dough and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours or longer.
Step 6
Remove from refrigerator and preheat oven to 375 decrees F. Using a large spoon, or tablespoon begin to scoop out cookie dough and place on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Step 7
Cook for 10 minutes or until golden brown, remove from oven and allow to cool
