Mu favorite room is my dining room! Probably because it doubles as my sewing area. Howwever, I splurged on a beautiful table and chairs with many extra leaves for family gatherings. It is a happy place with nice candles as my centerpiece. I often have a neatly placed sewing project when I’m by myself, for guests I put things away. The dining room has a huge casement window that the two sides open and I have pretty curtains in Laura Ashley that puddle on the floor. I have a pretty chandelier that is over the dining table. I love nice fabrics and I made a nice tavblecloth.
My bedroom is my favorite place in my home. My bedroom is my getaway and haven. I have narcolepsy and spend a good deal of time there. These sheet are just the thing I’ve been looking for. How exciting is that???

We are not especially into TV but it’s there in case any of us wants to watch something and we all watch together.. The bedroom would be if I can make it more comfortable and organized. This is because the livingroom is just so small that it is anoyong. The kitchen was the favorite gathering spot but the kitchen where I am currently living is crowded. It was a spot to have conversations, coffee, tea, and playing board games, and cards. Now I like to hide, lol.
My sunroom is another fave room where I can just relax and do nothing or read.
The favorite room in my home is my “second” bedroom. I don’t use it as a bedroom, though, but as a special place! I have a nook for reading, a beautiful slipper chair and ottoman, and lush drapes for the huge windows. The room faces south and is soo sunny and cheerful.
I love my bedroom, but more specifically my bed. It is my sanctuary. It is my safe place and my little piece of Heaven. I have a four inch thick mattress topper comprised of memory foam and down pillow top. Then I also have an electric mattress pad and yes, I pre-heat my bed.
I also have a luxurious down comforter. All I need now are some high thread count sheets and the perfect pillow.
I’d say my Mom’s favorite room is the living room, because that’s where her computer is.
Next would be my kitchen, its small but I know where everything is.

I have really nice sumptuous Laura Ashley drapes and towels, all so plush. I have the cutest hat decoration I made with a matching Monet painting. I’m loving the kitchen today. It’s brutally cold outside and I have the oven on baking bread for tonights soup, which seems appropriate given the weather. The aroma coming from the baking bread is nostalgic and brings me back to when I used to visit my grandparents.
I love my dining room because I now have the table my great-grandparents gave to my grandparents for their wedding in it – Many Memories around that table!!!!

In our livingroom we have a fireplace that we have used this year. It is so funny my husband has been chopping wood since July. It is 7 degress here today and I am thrilled that he has the firewood for the fireplace. It is verey cozy at night and we watch the fire and drink some wine.

My girlfriend called me up to watch her special needs son as she had to be admitted to the hospital, so I have not been home at all since early this morning. Not that I mind being here, her son is easy to care for and a great kid all around, but it’s snowing outside and now once her ex husband comes to pick up the boy I have to drive home in this icky horrible snow! I am so over snow, I’m serious.

At times, my favourite room is the bathroom. A hot bubblebath and a good book can solve many of life’s problems.
If you fill you home with the things that you love and treasure, every room will be your favorite room!!!!
We just bought our house and I havent decided what room I like best because I love it all!
I really like my kitchen. It’s a place of gathering for friends and family, as well as a place to discover new foods.
The favorite room in our house is definitely the family room. We have a big ol’ 67 inch TV in there which is usually on Nickelodeon or the Disney channel during the day till my little girl goes to bed and then we get back control of it.

As you predicted I am running out of rooms and some creative writing too. I wish I had a favorite room today, but alas I don’t. I’m bored and cranky and ok, if the attic were in any sort of order I’d probably go there and hide until my mood improve and that would be my favorite room. LOL.

I like my bedroom because it stays cooler than all the rest of the house and that is relaxing to snuggle up in a cool room

We also have a dog named Skipper, and Skipper is a recue dog that we bought. He loves the fireplace in the livingroom..when it is cold he places all of his toys in a row in front of the fireplace….and then lays down to get war….I think he thinks he is warming up his toys becuase they must be cold too!!!!!
I love my bedroom because its where i go at the end of the day and just rest, forget everything else and sleep!!

I love my daughters room. She didn’t wnat to move and so to make it easier I asked her what color she wanted to paint her room. She said Red. I think because she wanted to shock me, but we went and picked out the color and I painted her room red. She wanted a red/black and white room. So on a $150 budget, which I came in around $110, I gave her that room. I got lots of great decorations, a red table from Ikea for $4.00 that she uses as a night stand, a lamp from target. I made her curtains with material I already had and turned a low trundle set of drawers and doors into an upholstered setee. The whole room came out great and she was quite happy with it.
I love the warmth and coziness of my family room with its leather couches and dark shades.

I’m embarrassed to admit this, but some of the bed linens I have were wedding/shower gifts from 1983 – LOL!!!!

I decided since I had two more weeks of posts about which room was my favorite and to be a bit creative I made myelf one of those game things with where you flick the arrow and whatever the arrow lands on is your number or prize. I put all the rooms I have on it, which is not many by the way, and flicked the spinner. It landed between the bathroom and diningroom, which are on two different floors. So I flicked it again and it landed on the bedroom turned closet that we call “the purple room” because it is painted purple and we never repainted it. So today my favorite room is the purple room by virture of my game spinner. Oh, and why I like it? Because it stores a bunch of things in it that I cannot now fit in my regular closet. How’s that for creative?

My favorite room is my living room because it has the most amount of light. I love natural light and this room is south facing and gets a great deal of light, even in the winter.
