ViSalus – Body by Vi Weight Loss Challenge

What was your New Years Resolution?  Did you make one?  You know it’s never too late to set some goals for 2013, and becoming a more healthy you is always a positive step.  I recently was able to experience some of the ViSalus products, and learn more about the Body by Vi Weight Loss Challenge.  I’ve heard good things about the products but this is the first time I was able to experience them.  Before we jump into my experience let me share a little about ViSalus and what they do.

I was provided the ViSalus Shape Kit. The kit included several great products.  I have to be honest with you.  I gave almost everything I received to my good friend Lindzi.  Not because the products are horrible, but because she is at a point where she’s ready to lose weight.  Most of you know I have already been doing Nutrisystem, and I didn’t feel I would be able to give you an accurate review doing both.  So let’s talk about what the kit includes.

I asked her what she thought it tasted like, and she said it reminded her of a healthy cake mix.  She liked it enough to order more, she says it’s a great meal replacement.  She feels full and energized during the day.

I also received three boxes of Nutra-Cookies and two Nuero Packets.  I have to say, I really enjoyed the Nutra Cookies.  They come in three different flavors Oatmeal Raisin, Chocolate Chip, and Peanut Butter. All three flavors were great, but the Peanut Butter was by far my favorite.  I gave Lindzi two boxes of the Nutra-Cookies, I had to keep the peanut butter.  They are something that is okay to eat on my diet, and taste awesome.  My children thought they were yummy too, lol.  Yes, my toddler and 7-year-old would sneak in and grab one every chance they had.

What really makes the cookies great is they are all-natural and truly the perfect mini-meal.  They are made with ViSalus’s Tri-Sorb protein system, prebiotic, fiber and antioxidants.  The cookies are not only yummy but healthy too.  They supports a healthy immune system, digestive system, and do a great job curbing your appetite.  There’s 14 cookies per box, and they can be used as a healthy snacks, or a meal replacement.  One cookie as a snack and two for a meal replacement.

I don’t know about you, but when I diet I always seem to get a sweet tooth.  The Nutra Cookies do a great job satisfying that sweet tooth as well.

NEURO Packets – Another body by vi perk, the NEURO Packets are a fabulous way to add a little flavor to your water.  I did keep several of these, and thought they worked great.  I love drinking water, but it can often get a little dull.  The fact that you get a nice boost of energy is awesome!  There’s nothing better that adding a little flavor to your ice-cold water, and getting a nice burst of energy.  The NEURO packets come in two different flavors:

•  Lemon Lift Drink Mix

Does a great job in helping boost your energy.  NEURO Raspberry Boost and NEURO Lemon Lift Drink Mixes help increase energy and become more focused.   There’s Rhodiola, DMAE, and Vitamin B in the drink mix.  Simply grab a packet and add it to your water, and you’re good to go.

Are you wondering why in the world I gave the shakes to my friend Lindzi.  Most of you already know I started Nutrisystem.  I did not think it was a great idea to mix the two of them up, and she wanted to start some kind of diet.  I wanted to help her so I gave my shakes to my friend to help her with her weightless goals.  She’s actually done awesome, hitting the 20 pound mark.  She did however tell me that she has needed to mix things up with the shakes.  She uses unsweetened Almond Milk, 1 1/2 scoops of the ViSalus Shake Mix, and has started adding fruit.  She says banana is by far her favorite.
