I recently made a huge batch of this yummy pink trail mix as an early Valentine’s Day gift to my wonderful husband.  He works for an oil field company here in New Mexico, and drives around checking the pumps…  Well, let’s just say he is in the truck, nowhere near a place to grab something to eat or drink so I try to always send him with something to munch on while he’s working.

I made a HUGE bag of this Valentine’s Day Pink Trail Mix, so it would last him a little while.  He drives a lot during the day, and it’s typically in the middle of nowhere, so he cannot just grab something to eat.  I try to get creative and make things that don’t go back quickly, that he likes, and of course can share with the other guys from the office.

The Valentine’s Day Pink Trail Mix was a HUGE hit, gone in 2 days!  I knew they would eat it, but 2 days is pretty impressive I made several pounds of it .  My husband told everyone he walks with how much I enjoy cooking for Valentine’s Day, and one of his work buddies request Valentine’s Day Muddy Buddy’s, so I will be sharing that as well in the next few days.  Anyway, let’s get started you are going to love how easy, and wonderful this is.

This is really a great idea, and the fact you can put what you want in it is great, especially if some of the people have health issues, like diabetes, can customize appropriately!!

This looks like a great mix. I’m actually going to make this for my daughter for her school snack minus the almonds.

What a cute and simple idea that even I couldn’t mess up. My adult kids LOVE trail mix & this is a perfect little gift to give them. I think I’ll get some cellophane bags and tie a red bow around them! Thanks!
