Look Prepped and Perfect all Day Long with Flawless #Makeup

Blah Blah's Good Disclosure

When you’re constantly staying busy during a hectic holiday season it’s hard to keep your makeup fresh all day long. Your face may get oily, your mascara may run from watery eyes, or your lips may get chapped from the dry climate you are visiting or live in. Whatever the case may be, you need tips so that your makeup will stay flawless all day long. That way you won’t have to completely redo your makeup before going to the holiday party later that evening. If you’re on a budget because you’ve been buying beauty products for all your friends, splurge on yourself too (its okay!) and visit here at Sidepon.com to help you save some money.

Apply Makeup Smoothly to Begin with –

In order for your makeup to be long lasting, it needs to be applied correctly in the first place. Apply a face primer prior to applying your makeup – this will smooth out any larger pores on your skin and will act as a base as the day goes on, keeping away oil. Afterwards when you apply your makeup use a clean sponge so that it will be easy to apply the liquid or powder smoothly. Also, if you use brushes to apply your foundation wash them regularly to get rid of any impurities and germs that can cause acne. In addition, as you begin to apply your makeup buff out all of the streaks so that your makeup will look flawless all day long.

Long Lasting Eyeliner –

Obviously eyeliner will stay on longer if you buy a well know brand that is durable and long lasting. Experiment with a few well known brands and discover what works best with the sensitive skin surrounding your eyes. The more durable the brand, the more likely your eyeliner will stay on longer throughout the day! Another trick is to gently pat on a little bit of foundation underneath your eyes because it will act as an eyeliner primer. This should help your eyeliner stay on all day long, but if your eye makeup does happen to smear, a makeup sponge or Q-tip with a touch of lotion will always do the trick. Clean up the smudged liner and then reapply right before a family get together or fun holiday party.

Skip the Lipstick and Stick with Chapstick –

Obviously lipstick is great if you like color on your lips, but it fades a lot faster then a reliable chapstick. Sometimes nude is better when you’re on the go and using a brand like Blistex or EOS will condition your lips and make them look beautiful simultaneously. If you do insist on wearing lipstick you can use chapstick as a base or apply it on top of your lipstick as well! Not only will it help your lipstick last longer, but it will condition your lips as well. Enjoy being a part of the holiday magic while wearing long lasting and perfect makeup that will look dazzling throughout the holidays.

Thank you, jenn, for the makeup tips.

  2. Those are great makeup tips. One thing I need to do is slow down and apply it correctly. I had 4 kids and was always in a rush., They’re grown now, but old habits are hard to break.

Thank you for all of your make-up tips Jenn. A lot of them I already follow but there are a couple of new ones I am surely going to try.

  4. Great make-up tips. It’s been a long time since I’ve put on what I call a “full face” (foundation, lipstick, etc). I had forgotten that they sell make-up primer.

I would add that Laura Mercier sells a great lip balm with an SPF of 15. Goes on great and smells good too.
