Are you looking for something to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day that’s fun!  Grab the kids, and let’s have some fun.  Everyone loves Lucky Charms cereal right!  The Little Lucky Charm Pie Recipe is awesome, so much fun to do, and a rewarding treat once your finished.  Don’t forget to check out some of our other awesome St. Patrick’s Day Recipes!  
Cake

  • 1 box Moist butter recipe chocolate cake mix (I used Betty Crocker)
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 3 Eggs

Frosting 

  • 1/4 Cup Vegetable Shortening
  • 1 Cup Marshmallows any size package Lucky Charms cereal
  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pure Mint Extract
  • 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • Green Food Coloring
  • 1 Tablespoon Milk
  • 2 Cups Powdered Sugar

How to make these Awesome Treats

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper
  3. in a large bowl mix cake mix, water, oil, and eggs and mis well
  4. On a parchment lined baking sheet, place large tablespoon’s of the cake batter about 2 inches apart from each other
  5. Bake for 8-10 mins or until you can place a toothpick in the middle of the cake and it come out clean
  6. Set cakes to cook on parchment for about 10 mins
  7. In a medium blow mix, shortening and butter
  8. Add the powdered sugar about 1/2 cup at a time until it is smooth
  9. Spread a small spoonful of the mint frosting between two cakes and decorate the edges of the cakes with the Lucky Charms Marshmallows!
