I received my KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron (1″ inch) from Flat Iron Experts two weeks ago, and have used it every single day. The more I use it, the more I enjoy it, and the more I realize I can use it for. When I first opened the box, I thought the iron looked like your normal flat-iron, nothing special. I began to look at the settings and, WOW I realized the heat settings went all the way up to 410 degrees, and is 1 inch. I can honestly say, this is the first flat-iron I have seen with that high of temperature setting.
After I noticed how high the head setting went, I had to read. The more I read, the more I feel in love. Something I found awesome was that the KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron (1″ inch) has settings for all types of hair. There’s lower heat settings for fine or damaged hair, and higher setting for difficult to manage thick hair. The recommended heat settings are as follows:
- 140 – 209 Very Fine, Fragile Hair
- 210 – 279 Thin, Easy to Curl Hair
- 280 – 349 Normal Textured Hair
- 350 – 410 Thick, Coarse Hair
My hair is normal textures, straight, with some added frizz that I cannot seen to get rid of without completely curling my hair. I’ve never been able to get rid of my frizzy look with an iron. It also heats up in 30 seconds.
The Professional X-Heat Ceramic Styling Iron has been rated one of the best Flat Iron’s on the market, and it’s preferred by some of the top hair stylists in the world. You can find the Professional X-Heat Ceramic Styling Iron is several magazines such as:
- Salon Magazine
- Fashion Magazine
- BEAT 94.5
The Professional X-Heat Ceramic Styling Iron distributes heat on the whole surface evenly, retains heat more efficiently, and gets rid of damaging hot spots. That’s the magic behind ceramic technology. The KQC X-Heat uses ceramic, which emits a natural source of ions and far infrared heat which in fact helps your hair, preserves more moisture within the hair shaft, helps to get rid of frizz and create the smooth shiny cool we all love. It also damages your hair cuticle while styling less.
I was also lucky enough to have the opportunity to try KQC Thermal Shine Spray and KQC Iron Holder. Which were both fabulous. The iron holder was great, I’ve always just layer my curling iron, it was nice to have the holder to place the iron in. The KQC spray, well let’s just say it’s amazing, leaves your hair looking healthy, shiny soft, and manageable, all while protecting it from the heat. I love the way it make my hair look and feel. Another awesome perk about the Thermal Shine Spray, when you purchase the iron it comes free.
I often worry about using these types of products, you never know if it’s going to weight your hair down, or give it that greasy look. I loved the KQC Thermal Shine Spray, no greasy feeling, no oily look, it make my hair look great. Use the Shine Spray while styling to not only make your hair look great, but to help tangle’s and protect against heat damage, split-ends, and frizz.
Both my daughter and myself love the Thermal Shine Spray, it’s awesome and makes our hair look so soft and shiny. My daughter has THICK hard to do anything with hair, why mine is normal, but has loads of frizzy that make it hard to manage. If I don’t do something with my hair, it goes directly into a messy bun or ponytail.

- Tourmaline ceramic plates and multi-layer ceramic heating elements
- Far-infrared heat styles faster and soften hair
