We gave the KidKraft Beachfront Mansion to my youngest daughter Maddie for Christmas. Everyone else had a big present for Christmas, but Mattie. We just were not able to find anything that she would just fall in love with like the other kids. Then I was given the opportunity to review this fabulous Beachfront Mansion.
I had the doll house shipped to my work, once I looked at the box I knew this would be her big gift. She was going to flip out when she opened it. I wish you could have seen her eyes when we brought it out of the bedroom. I was going to let Santa give it to her, but I truly couldn’t wait on Santa, lol. I knew all my children were going to love it. There’s nothing better than seeing your children happy.
Not only my Maddie loves the Beachfront Mansion, all my kids love it. My two youngest daughters play with it all the time. I love watching my children play together. I honestly believe it makes the closer in the end if they spend quality time enjoying something together. Without fighting. Speaking of fighting, I would like to say thanks to KidKraft right from the start. My children have not been in one fight over the doll house. They play so well together, it’s great. I planned on moving the doll house into Mattie’s room, but have left it in the living room because they play with it so much.
I have to say I feel like one pretty awesome mommy right now. My two youngest daughters are rocking a KidKraft Beachfront Mansion, and it’s bad to the bone! Seriously, let me give you the rundown. Before we get started, I just wanted to say I am just a little jealous of my daughters new doll house. I WANT A ONE! Okay, now that I said it we can move on, lol.

In the past my girls have had a few doll houses, but nothing as awesome as the Beachfront Mansion. It’s awesome, my teenage daughter and I caught ourselves playing dolls, while helping Shawn (my husband) put it together. It was fun, really felt like a child again. I love it when I get toys for my children that bring out the child in me. Maybe, I just wanted to see what it was like to live in something as awesome as the home KidDraft made, lol.
There’s FIVE areas to play. There’s a Living room, kitchen, master bedroom, bathroom, and a top floor balcony. The KidKraft Beachfront Mansion is fashionable, and super fun.
What I like best about the KidKraft Beachfront Mansion is how well it’s made. Seriously, I’ve never seen a doll house that is as sturdy as this one. Even my husband freaked out as to how well it’s made. It’s made of composite wood materials. The wooden Mansion stands over 4 feet tall and my daughter’s dolls are lucky to have such an awesome doll house. Yes, still jealous lol.
KidKraft did an awesome job paying attention to even the smallest of details. I really freaked out when I noticed that the screws were colored so they matched the walls. Really, they are check out this picture. You’ll see the screws are pink where the walls are pink. I really didn’t expect to see this much detail, but it doesn’t surprise me after getting everything out of the box and noticing how well everything is made.
Clean up is also a breeze, KidKraft really thought of everything. The storage space underneath the house, for the time being is a great place for them to store all their dolls and accessories. They have even been using it as a room for their Barbie house to stay in. That is when Barbie get’s upset and makes the pony sleep out there. This will be the perfect place to park a Barbie car of some kind. Yes, the girls already thought about that. They have been doing some work around the house so they have money to buy their Barbie’s a car.
Another awesome feature is that the boys in our lives can play too. My son has some hulk action figures, that he likes to try to kidnap Barbie with, lol. My nephews play with my girls Beachfront Mansion all the time, they like GI Joe, and some other little action figures. I’m sure the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will make an appearance soon too. The boys love to bother the girls as much as they can, lol. Yup, it’s for everyone, and there’s certainly enough room for them to have fun and play together.
Room is important in our home. I have four children, and we always have one of my nephews, or children’s friends at the house. It’s important for moms sanity that we have toys everyone can enjoy. Thanks KidsKraft for making awesome toys that everyone can play with, at affordable prices!
The elevator and winding stairs are a cool feature, a nice touch to an already awesome house. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a doll house with an elevator, it’s a nice touch to an already fabulous doll house. The dolls can now choose to take the elevator or the stairs, it’s up to them. The wood furniture and great artwork that is all over the Beachfront Mansion is pretty awesome as well. You’ll also find that the toilet flushes, and lamp lights up.
I love the openness, it makes it easy for everyone to play. I have four children of my own, and at times there’s three girls in there. Then we always have someone at our home. Everyone having the room to play together has been awesome. When the kids play they can play from the sides, as well as the front and there’s plenty of room.
I know all of you are probably wondering about assembly. I was too, when I first received the box I panicked a little bit. I didn’t realize how big the Beachfront Mansion was until I saw the box. Mom almost passed out, I was honestly worried about putting the doll house together. To my surprise, assembly went perfect. The step-by-step directions with labeled hardware, make putting it together a breeze. My husband and I put it together and it took about two hours from the time we started to open the box. I was surprised how well everything was packaged, and how easy the directions were to follow. The organized packaging was fabulous, and made assembly a cinch.
The KidKraft Beachfront Mansion is built to last. I am very satisfied with everything from start to finish. Thanks to KidKraft my Mattie and Vayda have an awesome Beachfront Mansion that everyone plays with. I always try to buy toys that fit all the kids, so they can play together It’s important that my children are close, and there’s no better way to keep them that way than for them to play together.
We put the KidKraft Beachfront Mansion together a little over a week ago, and there has not been a day that as passed that the girls have not played with their doll house. Now, my daughters friend is begging her mom to please get her a doll house like Vayda’s. It’s quite the popular toy, my neighbor’s daughter started coming over to play dolls with Vayda and Mattie too.
My children have tested the KidKraft Beachfront Mansion for about a week, and I give it TWO THUMBS UP! I say the Beachfront Mansion is totally awesome, definitely kid tested and Mommy Approved! Okay, Hands Down This is THE BEST doll house we’ve ever owned, and moms a bit jealous of Barbie’s new home.

Every kid should have a “doll house” when they are young! I remember the wonderful year I had with mine, and how heartbroken I was when it was destroyed in our family’s move from Virginia to Massachusetts. This house looks like a dream house for any kid!

This is a gorgeous doll house – I’ve never heqard of it before. So spacious, and love the storage at the bottom. It is obviously much more sturdy and well-made than the cheap Mattel houses for Barbie. My niece has a house right now but I think she may need an upgrade

My daughter would love this. She has 3 dollhouses and I can’t convince her to give even one up. This one is bigger than her biggest one…she’s have every tiny stuffed animal and toy all playing house all day long.

This sounds like it is better made than those plastic toys they mass sale at the discount stores, that break so easy. That is the main complaint I have with a lot of the major toys now, they are cheaply made and don’t last! Not like the wood and cloth toys my grandma and even Mom grew up with.

What a great gift. My little one, who just turned 3 in early December, wanted a “dolly house” for her birthday. I went with the Kidcraft Deluxe Playaround Dollhouse because you can play 360 degrees. Both my daughters love playing with it and because of the design, they don’t get in each other’s way!

Every child, boy or girl should have a dollhouse. This one just happens to be beautiul and easily constructed. I had one made out o wood that my father made for me. It was a Vctorian.and gorgous. Most of my friends had the same type so no one was especially appreciative of theirs.AHHHH…youth. Wish I had it now.
This is the one item that fosters imaginative play for hours. and doesn’t have to cost a fortune. My dd & her friends played “house” Thy would bring over their own characters and accessories to add to the “illusion” of living another life. good memories for sure.
