Have you heard of google+ yet? If not, google+ is a social media site that google has created where you can video chat with a group of people, organize your friends into different circles, and stay in touch with loved ones who live far away.
Google+ is basically just more advertising. That is the one thing that may be the most important in the blogging process, because it doesn’t matter how great your material is, it won’t matter if no one is reading it. This is something that most successful bloggers put a lot of time and thought into. Along with facebook, twitter, pinterest, and other social media sites, Google+ is a great way to advertise and get your name out there. You can easily put links in your blog to your sites,
It is not suggested to only run your material through google+, but to simply use it as a supplement to your blog. This is because it will be more limited that way. Although you should be weary of spreading yourself too thin, it is usually a great idea to spread your brand or idea to different places as much as you can. One example of this is the Jack Daniels company. When they first made it big with selling liquor, they then decided to make Jack Daniels steak rub and barbeque sauce. Now their name is out there more and they are more popular and profitable because of it.
Getting on multiple sites is one of the ways for bloggers to do that. You can also do this by having links to your blog in other blogs, or having an email list that you send updates for when a new post is up.
