The holidays are supposed to be happy times, but things don’t always work out that way. The holidays often bring on unwanted and unneeded stress. It get’s hard to afford the holidays anymore, trust me I have 4 children. I want to give them all kinds of stuff, but I find myself reaching for a pin and paper to add up what I’m spending.
This year I think I’ve done pretty good, I have really budgeted and taken advantage of awesome deals. That’s another awesome things about this time of year, everything is on sale, and if you look it’s likely you’ll find it on sale. I’ve shopped all over the place, have a few more gifts to get.

Gofer sounds great. Another thing I do is designate a shelf as my “gift” shelf. Throughout the year, when I have extra to spend, I visit the clearance shelves at every store and buy stuff at great prices for gifts. Before shopping for gifts, I go shopping on my own “gift shelf.” I’ve had holidays when I didn’t have to buy anything and between parents, siblings, neices, nephews, friends and my own husband and son, i have well over 20 people to give gifts to.
