I loved playing a musical instrument in grade school! A Clarinet to be exact, my first song learned was “pop goes the weasel”. As you may know they are cutting a lot of school musical programs now and my future grandchildren may not have the opportunity to have this wonderful experience in life. I remember my family gathering around to hear me play.

What a precious moment in time! Well First Act is well aware of these cut backs and they are taking a step and making a difference! This is why I was excited to team up with First Act, Inc. They design, create and market musical products, instruments and accessories for all ages! Known for their commitment to making quality instruments at every level from their super custom guitars to their school-aged Discovery line, taking pride in their hard work and dedication!

I think this is such a wonderful idea to get children involved in music and playing musical instruments at an early age.

One of my granddaughters told me when she was 3 she was going to be a singer….well she might want to learn to play an instrument…too…now…

I grew up in a house full of music. One of my best memories is sitting around listening to my dad play the guitar and sing to us. I would sing to my daughter even before she was born and it always seemed to calm her down. When she was just little about 6 mths old, she would always make strange with my dad. He would get out his keyboard and play her some music and she would be right there on his lap. 14 years later music is her favorite subject. We lost my dad to cancer 3 months ago. I now have his keyboard, the joy it brings me to play with my kids around or to watch them and listen to them play…Music tends to bring joy and peace to my house. Thanks for the great review.

I also learned to play the clarinet in school, and that started me on a lifetime of music. I am fortunate to be teaching in a school that still offers musical instrument instruction. My grand son would love this ukelele!

I love that First Act takes pride in its instruments, and even makes quality instruments for small children. I think it makes a big difference to learn on a real instrument as opposed to some flat sounding toy. I’d love to win this for my nephew, who loves music and will absolutely love this, and I’d love to teach him. He was born in Hawaii, so this would be the perfect instrument to learn!

I played violin from 5th grade til I was a senior & it’s a shame so many schools think that the musical programs are unimportant.

I think it’s great that First Act has some of the cutest musical instruments ever. I always loved to play music when I was younger, I played the piano and clarinet. I wasn’t very good at the clarinet though-lol. I did somehow though always feel at peace while playing the piano

Great review and thanks for the chance to win

I really like all the different musical instruments that they have for children. My grandson has started showing a intrest in musical things since he was just a few months old. His father and grandfather are both very good drummers, I’m thinking that he is following in their footsteps.

I looked at their warranty and I’m impressed that they don’t require you to register the product and will still fulfill the warranty for 3 months :) I’m also impressed with their dedication to bring instruments back to school classes. I remember playing the recorder in 4th grade to this day lol Thank you for the review :)

Cutting Music Programs is a tragedy. Music allows some people communicate their feelings in a way they can’t through words. It’s also a great outlet to relieve stress and our little ones are overly stressed especially because the cutting of programs that allow them to express themselves artistically.

I’m sorry to say that I can’t play an instrument nor can I sing, well all on the same note. I think my babies went to sleep either out of boredom or to escape the dreadful noise :-)
