Cozy Earth’s Bamboo Sheet Set Review | Softest Sheets You’ll Ever Meet

Blah Blah's Good Disclosure

IMG_20121213_182056_zps3b0ebde4, Uploaded from the Photobucket Android AppI have to admit, I have been extremely spoiled when it comes to my bed.  I recently received the Nature’s Sleep Mattress, which all I have to say is WOW.

I recently received a set of Bamboo Sheet’s from Cozy Earth!  WOW, I honestly didn’t know that such a thing existed to be honest.  Bamboo, hummmmm.  I received them a few weeks ago, and let’s just say they have come off my bed to get washed and went directly back on.  They are by far the softest sheets I’ve ever had the privilege of trying.

The Bamboo Sheets are white, and only come in white.  Guess what!  They stay white too.  Cozy Earth’s Bamboo fabric does not turn yellowish or grayish over time.  It stays white, so you’ll never need to worry about them getting dingy looking.

bamboo pillow caseLet’s start with how soft they are.  I truly don’t know what to compare them to, I have never felt experiences anything this soft on my bed.  They are 100% viscose from Bamboo fabric, and as they say on their website, “softer than Egyptian cotton.”  That they are, I actually received a set of Egyptian cotton sheet for Christmas, and don’t get me wrong they are amazing, super soft.  However, they don’t compare to the Cozy Earth Bamboo Sheets we have on our bed now.

If I had to explain them I would compare them to silk, without the clingy feeling.  They truly take luxurious to another level!  I don’t know if you’ve experienced it, but silk can get static and clingy.  I hate that while I sleep, I would rather sleep without sheets.  I love the soft, but it’s just not worth it.  They have a different feel to them, but it’s the closest thing I can think of.  Softer than silk, without the static or clingy feeling while you sleep.

Another fabulous feature about ALL Cozy Earth products is they are 100% earth friendly, made with 100% sustainable bamboo and silk.   They are hand-crafted with obvious care.  They have a proprietary weave process, which makes them as soft as they are.

IMG_20121213_183333_zps843542c0, Uploaded from the Photobucket Android AppI was actually surprised that they are machine washable.  Yes, toss them in the washer and wash them.  There is no bleach required, add mild detergent and put on a mild cycle.   I figured something this awesome would need to be dry-cleaned or hand washed for sure.  Nope, they are durable and can handle the washer.  However, I still wash my on delicate just to be sure, lol.  I want to be as easy as possible, I want them to last a long time.

We have not yet done this, but I found it interesting and wanted to share.  Bamboo fibers naturally rejuvenate and refresh in sunlight.  If you want to naturally freshen, hang them to dry in mild to moderate sunlight once every 3-5 months, for 1-3 hours.

I actually learned something pretty interesting, it’s called moisture wicking.  Did you know that Bamboo naturally wicks moisture away from your body, which reduces humidity that causes you get become excessively hot or cold while you’re sleeping.

Okay, so here is where it gets even better.  The Bamboo sheets have temperature regulation.  They respond to your body temperature.  My husband gets hot, and I get cold.  Guess what no more fighting over me pulling the cover up, and him kicking them off.  They respond to each persons body temperature.  If they can have my husband and I sleep under the same covers all night long, they’re doing something right.

The Bamboo sheets do what they say they do.  They have helped my husband and I sleep together without disagreeing on the covers.  Sure does make for a better nights rest, than when you’re fighting with your spouse because you’re cold and they’re hot.  Not to mention it’s nice, my husband will lay in bed with me longer now on the weekends.  I like to think he wants to spend time with me, lol.  Really the sheets are awesome, and he doesn’t want to get out of them.  Not really, I am sure he wants to cuddle in the mornings.  However, I have to agree it’s definitely hard to get out of our bed, now more than ever.  These bad boys have really made a nice edition to our already fabulous bed.

You’ll also enjoy the fact that they are hypoallergenic, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-mold, and inhospitable to bed bugs, dust mites, and other nasty harmful bugs that hide where you sleep.

Here’s a few awesome facts that I learned from Cozy Earth:

  • Silk is stronger than steel
  • Silk is a natural fire retardant
  • Bamboo bedding is recommended by Dr’s for those who suffer with allergies or asthma.
  • A Cozy Earth Silk Comforter or Bamboo Comforter will last for up to 15-years. (WOW, now tell me that’s not amazing).
  • The reason Cozy Earth’s Bamboo can keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter is because it breathes by what’s called naturally wicking.

girl rolling around on new sheets on bedI know it’s not that great of a photo, but there’s something about it that I love.  Yes, that is my toddler playing on mom and dads bed.  Yes it’s right after we got everything all put together!  Needless to say, they have been Kid Tested.  Don’t know what it is, but between our 4 children and 4 pups, this always seems to happen.  If we get something new, they always have to test it out.  Works for me, lol.

Okay so if you read my review on the Nature’s Sleep Mattress you know Madisyn was stuck in our bed.  We’ll this kid knows comfy, she not only won’t get out and sleep in her own.  Not only are they Kid Tested, but Kid Approved!  She brings her friends over.  That’s right, and they play in my bed and watch TV in my bed.  I’m sure I could kick them out, but I don’t want to I like them there.

cozy earth sheets, kids in bed I have to tell you these are truly the BEST sheets I have ever owned.  They are the softest by far. I can honestly say I have never experiences any bedding products like this.  As I mentioned above, I can compare to silk, but it doesn’t explain it well enough.  You would have to try them to know what I am talking a bout.

The bamboo sheets that we have used at my sister’s ( I wanted to steal them out of her guest room…lol) were just as comfortable, but so much cooler… well worth paying for!

  35. terri tillman says:

these sheets sound like they would be the perfect final touch to mt new memory foam mattress. that ‘temperature regulation thing sounds pretty interesting. i wake up a lot during the night because i am either too darn hot or too darn cold. these sheets might just help with that. that would be a great plus.

My husband loves them maybe more than me and complains if I take them off to wash. I also purchased a Cozy Earth bamboo comforter, silk comforter, and silk pillow and can tell you they are unreal in comfort and softness! Down doesn’t even compare, I’ve never felt anything like them. Don’t think twice Cozy Earth is the best when it comes to bamboo bedding.

  72. Tara Huffman says:

Living in Arizona I love that these sheets are 100% viscose from Bamboo fabric. Over half of my wardrobe is made of viscose because of the breath-ability and softness (which only gets softer with each wash). Having sheets make of 100% viscose from Bamboo fabric would be so decadent. I am picky about my linens. I may just change all my sheets to 100% viscose from Bamboo fabric. I am happy that they are affordable. These will last the rest of my life.
