I think we all have that picture, you know that special ones that takes us back to that very second in our lives. We remember exactly what we were feeling, thinking, or doing. So how did the process work? It’s actually much simpler than I had thought. I emailed 3D Laser Gifts a picture that I wanted engraved into my crystal. I think when you order one from the website you actually upload you’re own photos. I picked one of my favorite photos of Shawn and myself. I sent the picture over in JPG format. 3D Laser Gifts accepts photos in many different formats such as:

I also included text on my awesome laser gift. You can also add symbols in your text. How do they engrave the images? I wondered this myself after I received mine. It’s pretty interesting. The engraving process uses a laser to etch your images and/or text on your crystal. The process is known as Vitrography.

I absolutely love my 3D Crystal. Like I mentioned earlier, the picture just doesn’t do it justice. You need to experience with first hand. I still look at it in amazement, I cannot believe how awesome it is, and that someone can really do that.

Making something like this I would assume shipping would take a bit longer than other items. I was really surprised as to how quickly I received my 3D Crystal.
