I know you’re probably wondering what the heck that is on our table. Well, silly it’s a happy face! My husband made a happy face out of our new WOK. I know, he’s a little nutty but that is why I love him. LOL, be sure to keep reading and at the end of this review I will share the rest of our super fun WOK pictures. He sure was happy to get our new AROMA 5-QT Electric Wok.
The AROMA Electric Wok is the third electric wok I have owned, and by far the best. It features a deep 5 quart pan that heats to cooking temperatures very quickly and evenly due to its cast aluminum construction which also makes it very light.
Cleaning the Electric wok is a breeze thanks to the durable nonstick surface which in turn means you no longer have to use all of that bad for your heart artery clogging oil. We all need to eat healthier and the AROMA Electric Wok makes it easier to enjoy your favorite heart healthy foods when ever you want at an easy to stomach price.
The AROMA Electric Wok is not just for your typical stir frys, I have used mine to make fajitas, pork chops, pasta, and a few other complete meals. The AROMA Electric Wok
came with some useful accessories, a steaming rack, for steaming almost any thing you can fit in the wok. It also came with another rack for making Tempura what ever that is, at least now I have the equipment to make it, soon as I figure out what it is.
So far I have cooked 8 meals with my AROMA Electric Wok, chicken fajitas with red, yellow and green bell peppers, red and white onions some sautéed mushrooms and half of a clove of garlic my favorite so far. The pork chops, I seasoned with some season salt coarse ground black pepper and garlic powder and let sit. I heated the Wok and dropped the pork chops in two at a time let brown on both sides and then added a quarter cup of warm water and cover. cook on one side for five minutes turn and cook for five minutes. If water boils away add small amount water to prevent drying out. Flip one mor time and cook for three more minutes. they will be the tenderest, juiciest most delicious pork chops you will ever eat.
Other things about my AROMA Electric Wok that make it stand out against the other woks I have owned are: The big domed lid that is made of tempered glass and has a steam vent that directs the steam away from the handle so it stays cool and you don’t get scalded when you remove the lid. The removable base makes cleaning and storage simple. The removable temperature control probe is also an improvement over the others, the dial is easy to read and temperatures seem to be accurate. Removing the probe has also been made easier all you have to do is squeeze the cool little lever on the side of the temperature control and it pops right out. We all know how hard the temperature control thing can be to get out sometimes, I pulled the wires out of my last one.
Lol, check out my cheese burrito. It was so yummy that I had to try it, what a better way. I guess if you love cheese like I do there’s nothing wrong with skipping tortilla, and getting straight to the good stuff. LOL, you know you would do it too!

I honestly don’t remember what this face was for! Probably, that I wouldn’t let him help me cook. hahaha did you think that was as funny as I did? Not really he does cook, and help me cook all the time.
Now, here is his mad face. Has nothing to do with the Wok. This was how he felt when I told him to stop playing, I needed to cook. Yea, he was having way to much fun!

I so want this wok!
I”m thinking of getting an electric wok – I just gave my old wok to Salvation Army. It is too hard to get the right heat on my stove. I’d also like to use the wok other than on the store! This sounds like a good one. I’ve been using a regular fry pan, i miss having a wok.

This is fantastic! I love the add-ons particularly. I have a wok, but it’s just a regular old pan. This would be so great to own. And lol, those faces. How funny.
